Apartamento Aqua Banús 3

Location was excellent. 1 Minute from the beach and restaurants/bars. 1 minute to supermarkets. Parking was very secure and convenient as there is a lift to the basement. Concierge service/security was constantly present at the front desk. Good Wifi available in the apartment and cleanliness was good. Bathroom towels provided were of reasonable standard. Appreciated the iron & ironing board in the cupboard. Meet & Key hand over was excellent as were communications from the letting agency.

A second key to the apartment would have been useful or perhaps a second key safe at the front door as the code to the front door key safe was not provided. Spare blankets in the cupboard would have been appreciated. I noted the patio door lock from the living room to the balcony did not work. Personally did not like the small shampoo/soap packages. Dispensers would work better or small bottles but nonetheless appreciated the packages that were in place. Some more information about rubbish/garbage disposal would be useful as was unsure about procedure. Also some instructions for the safe in the bedroom as did not seem to work.

We had a great stay at this apartment – the location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Puerto Banús. The photos are spot on – the place is modern, well-equipped, and the balcony gets loads of sunlight, which we loved. At night, the shutters block out all the light and noise, so you can actually get a peaceful night’s sleep. The complimentary parking was a big plus – especially since we had a large SUV and didn’t have to worry about finding a spot. Communication with the agency managing the apartment was smooth and super responsive on WhatsApp.

We had a few concerns which the agency helped sort out.

Some noise late at night and early in the morning but that is expected from the location being in the centre of the town.

The property is well located; however, upon arrival, we found it to be in an unacceptable condition. The apartment was very dirty, with empty sweet wrappers left under the sofa, sweet and biscuit crumbs between the cushions, and a visibly unclean toilet base in the master bedroom. We reported these issues to MVA Real Estate, who claimed a cleaner would be sent, but no cleaning was ever carried out. Furthermore, communication with MVA Real Estate was extremely difficult, and they were largely unresponsive. We also requested additional white bath towels, as there were only a few provided. However, our request was refused with the explanation that "this is not a hotel." Instead, we were given black hand towels, which were not suitable.
