L’emplacement est bien par contre, il faut prévoir marcher environ 20 minutes à la gare centrale ou bien prendre un autobus pour s’y rendre comme c’est à plus ou moins 20 minutes de marche.

Il n’y a aucune fenêtre dans cet appartement qui est au sous-sol rez-de-chaussée, la salle de bain est plus ou moins fonctionnelle, la douche, du moins coulait partout sur le sol et les équipements étaient correct.

The accommodation is located in the center, a three-minute walk from the Teatro Massimo and a short distance from other attractions. The location was very clean in modern design.

Every was super

This is a really nice property. New and well equipped . Definitely a 9 + place to stay. The owner is super responsive. She answered everything within the hour. She is the best. The location is good and bad. Good in a sense that it is closed to Via Maqueda , one of the 2 pedestrian, motorcycle , scooter and bicycle only street. Bad is because the alleyways around the apartment is full of restaurants and they often take up 1/2 to 1/3 of the alleyway which makes it difficult to pass sometimes. Also with so many restaurants close by, in the morning the streets look like a garbage dump because the restaurants left the garbage on the street. I am not interested in Opera so being closed to Teatro Massimo makes no difference to me. I do prefer my room to be closer to the train station from where I went to Cefalú and Plaza Indipendenza from where I took a bus to Monreale. The room is well equipped with paper towels and everything . There is one electrical socket on either side but none near the dining table . I wish it has a microwave oven though.

3 steps down into the living area after you enter and 3 steps up to the bathroom . With all 3 steps the same color with no delineation like a yellow stripe on each step, it is hard to distinguish one step from the next ,especially when the step is actually a smooth darker cement floor. The first night after I used the bathroom , I somehow mistaken the 3 steps as 2 and I felled and thankfully didn’t injure myself. I mentioned that to the owner. She didn’t even response to that. Not even a word of empathy. I think these steps are problematic and they create hazard. I am sure a majority of the renters have no issue but all it takes one fall and it will ruin the vacation. I think these pictures are of very poor taste . The hand that is pulling the trigger of a gun. 2 lesbian kissing over the bed. 2 pictures of women that only wear a bra. The one in the middle bears her breasts. This place might be for adults only . The room has one window in the front , one in the back and they are both frosted windows so you don’t get any natural light coming in. It would be much better if it is on the 2nd or 3rd floor . Then at least you can open the windows. The bathroom is all dark finishing. It has many lights but I still felt like I was inside a cave. There is a buzz, a low drone sound periodically and especially after you use the hot water. If you do # 2 for long, it might bother you. The shower door has a hole and every time I showered, the water just went right through the hole and wet the floor outside the shower stall. There is a communal shower mat. I am not sure when was the last time it was cleaned. Usually hotels use a white towel the towel is wash after every stay. The air conditioner /heater is in the living room only, some 20 meters from the bedroom. There is no heating/cooling unit in the bedroom. The room is really good to stay.All these things above are simply personal preferences.

Das Appartement ist außergewöhnlich ausgestattet, hat ein besonderes Flair. Kaffee, eine große Teeauswahl, Wasser, Saft und weitere Annehmlichkeiten standen für uns zur Verfügung. Es liegt nur ein paar Meter vor der trubeligen Altstadt und ist trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Gabriele ist ein super netter Vermieter, hat uns mit dem Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe und sonstigen Tips sehr geholfen. Einen Besuch im FUD Restaurant können wir sehr empfehlen.
