The property was clean and mostly adequate. Finding the correct lockbox was a little tricky because there are several rentals in the same stairwell and you must navigate some turns and stairs before arriving at the right spot. Then it was simple. The location was good for walking to the sights we wanted to visit in central Palermo, and using public transport to reach Monreale. The breakfast was adequate - I mostly used the DIY kitchen facilities to make eggs and hot dogs. We didn't care for the long shelf life bread etc. but it is typical of other Italian self serve breakfasts. Future travelers should ensure they have the right spot on the map for reaching the right bus stop. It's across from a church (under renovation) and a small piazza (bus #101 from Palermo Centrale). The street noise was loud but expected (Vucciria is a party district, but with some eateries we liked). We were able to manage by closing windows and running the AC. We were comfortable.

Before arriving, we received an email from the property "reminding" us about an unexpected/additional charge for "renting" sheets and towels during our stay (totally optional of course - people usually travel with linens and towels). The baseless charges are buried in the T&C's. When I complained, the property was quick to reply - it seemed apparent they have done this before. The "rental fee" is 15 euro per person (we paid 30 euros, cash of course). In my opinion, this is a deceptive and corrupt business practice. Notwithstanding being included in the T&C's, it was not obvious upon booking the property. How many travelers would expect to pay extra for sheets and towels? In more than five decades of extensive personal and business travel, this was a first for me. It must be the latest internet scam being promoted for legally cheating your customers. As far as I am concerned, it is shit, and I am much less inclined to use Booking.com to book hotel rooms if I have to spend my time searching through T&C's for this type of thing.

La posizione è centralissima. La proprietaria e la sua collaboratrice sono state gentilissime, ci hanno dato un sacco di buoni consigli e ci hanno coccolato. L'appartamento è pulito, spazioso e ben rifinito. Per colazione c'era la possibilità di soddisfare qualsiasi voglia. 10 e lode!

Non abbiamo lamentele di nessun genere.

La cama es cómoda. La situación es céntrica. La tele es grande y tiene Netflix y otras Apps. El WiFi iba bien.

La ciudad está saturada de turismo y esta zona también, tanto la zona como el piso son poco accesibles para gente mayor, hay bastantes escalones altos antes y después del ascensor y 3 días no funcionó. Al precio hay que sumar la tasa turística de 4€ por persona y noche (maximo 4 noches) y además el alquiler de sábanas y toallas que fueron 15 € por persona y estancia. Me parece un engaño que publiciten que incluye desayuno y dejen "en la letra pequeña" lo de las sábanas. El desayuno es la mayoría bollería, bebidas y refrigerados industriales, no los tomamos. El sofá es muy incómodo para estar sentado. Mi hijo, que durmió en él, volvió con múltiples picaduras en los pies, tobillos y piernas, no sé si fue allí o en la calle, pero en fin...tampoco parecía estar muy limpio. La anfitriona solo se comunicó por wasapp. No había ninguna información turística.
