The Nest on the Water

Perfect quiet location just outside of Chichester with very nice walks along the canal. Driveway parking. Hob & oven so we cld be self catering. Owner was friendly and gave us some advice about local walks.

Really well-appointed and compact unit with outdoor space, in a fabulous handy location close to Chichester but a little distance away from the hustle and bustle. Very nicely furnished. The hosts left some little treats - which were appreciated. I unfortunately arrived during a heatwave - not completely ideal - though a fan was provided, which did help. Bed super comfy. The outdoor space was definitely handy during cooler evenings. Very good shower. Canal walk literally behind the property if you fancied less 'city' and more walking/peaceful views.

As others have noted, some blinds/curtains over the patio doors would massively help in hotter weather. It's a sun trap in the lounge room - which would be amazing in autumn/winter! - but makes it quite uncomfortable in heatwaves. Leaving all doors and windows open in the cooler evenings, plus fan, does help dissipate the heat, though. Everything else was awesome!

Location is excellent, away from the city centre but only 15 minutes walk along the canal tow path

Loved everything but the hot water is actually scalding and could cause a problem.

Exceptionally clean and modern. Some nice touches, plants etc. some milk, coffee and tea were provided. The equipment was up to date and worked well.

The sofa looked stylish but was very uncomfortable. The bed was quite uncomfortable, we rolled into the middle. No openable window in the bedroom. A little compact for us generally, especially if we wanted to stay longer.
