The Nest on the Water

We weren't sure where "The Nest" was when we arrived but the hosts were home and showed us where they had left the key.

We were there in the very hot week with temperatures reaching 35 degrees. We were glad of the fan provided. However the property is very enclosed and it was difficult to get a flow of air. The bedroom has no opening window, just a skylight in the ceiling. There were no blinds on the large patio doors of the lounge/kitchen so it was very hot in the mornings. The doors open on to a very small paved area enclosed by a high fence and we would have liked just a little more space outside. It's in a great location for seeing around, lovely welcoming hosts, and it was spotlessly clean, just not the most comfortable place in a heatwave.

Lovely property . Everything we needed for a two day stay . Clean and comfortable. We would stay here again . It is a nice walk into the city which takes around 15 to 20 minutes via the canal path at the rear of the property.

TV CHANNELS NO SIGN SAYING "NEST ON THE WATER"

Exceptionally clean and modern. Some nice touches, plants etc. some milk, coffee and tea were provided. The equipment was up to date and worked well.

The sofa looked stylish but was very uncomfortable. The bed was quite uncomfortable, we rolled into the middle. No openable window in the bedroom. A little compact for us generally, especially if we wanted to stay longer.
