We booked this apartment for 3 nights, paying around €1,200 in total—including a €150 cleaning fee. Unfortunately, the experience was a complete disappointment from the very beginning. The moment we arrived, we contacted the owners asking to leave immediately. The apartment was filled with very old and worn-out furniture, and the bathrooms were in a horrible state—dirty, neglected, and unhygienic. We didn’t use the showers for the entire stay due to how uncomfortable and unclean they felt. The apartment is advertised as being located in San Babila, but in reality, it is at Tricolore metro station, which is a completely different area. It took 25 minutes to reach the Duomo with our family and about 15 minutes to get to Montenapoleone. This misleading information about the location was extremely frustrating, especially given the high price. The kitchen was outdated, with heavily used, dirty furniture and appliances. The apartment itself is large, but very poorly structured—lots of space was simply unusable. Even the balcony was disappointing: it could barely fit two people sitting, and the air conditioning unit was blowing hot air directly onto our backs from just a meter away. To make things worse, old ladders and clutter were stored out there, ruining any attempt to enjoy a moment of relaxation. Despite paying €150 for cleaning, no cleaner showed up during our entire stay. The only time the cleaning lady arrived was at 10:00 AM on the day of checkout—which was also the exact time we were required to leave. On top of that, we were sent a message asking us to throw away the garbage ourselves before leaving. Paying a premium cleaning fee and then being treated like that is simply unacceptable. We asked early on if we could cancel our stay or at least leave after one night and be refunded for the remaining nights. The manager said they would ask the owner, but we didn’t receive a response until the next afternoon.
