It has mountain views
There is no elevator and no onsen (hot spring). The bathrooms are shared.

The breakfast was great and the onsen was fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful. We especially liked the shuttle driver. Our room was very quiet and comfortable. Lovely traditional finishes. Great views from our room.
The location was quiet but a little isolated. We did not have a car and getting around was slightly challenging but we made it work! The lodge provides a shuttle service to and from the mountain in the morning and afternoon but you’re kind of on your own beyond that. We knew this going into our stay, just didn’t quite understand the location relative to everything else in Hakuba and the difficulties walking when everything is buried in snow.
