The Roost - Family Friendly caravan near Glastonbury & Street

It was perfect for what we needed it for, which was a course in the locality. Clean, cosy, comfy and quiet. Perfect! The site was also secure, and instructions clear in terms of entry and exit.

A slightly warmer duvet or an extra blanket would have been good as it had been pretty wet and damp weather. But really, this is a small point!

The layout of the rooms and a pleasant place to stay for what we needed.

Finding the site, though given instructions it was still hard to find and the overall size of the bathroom!!!!! The mattresses may need to be looked at....

Locality. Cost. Cleanliness.

Minor details that would improve convenience. E.g. mirrors(full length in coat hanging cupboard or on wall to the left of that would have been useful) chairs on outside deck maybe, some kind of bedside light in little bedroom. Overall not things to dislike more suggestions.

The caravan was a nice space, tasteful decor.

The location isn't very easy to find on first arrival, some signage would help here. The caravan itself also doesn't have a 'The Roost' sign on. It could have been a little cleaner and more equipped with cutlery and with clearer instructions for appliances. There were only 2 forks, the owners resolved quickly but we only realised when we were just about to eat. The electricity powered out twice during our stay and the bed was broken, our first night was spent on the mattress in the living room floor. It was resolved the next day. It is on a field with other caravans that seem to be there on a more permanent basis and the gate is a little cumbersome as you have to lock and unlock a padlock everytime you leave and return. It is a really nice caravan in lovely countryside spot.
