Bluebell House

Beautiful property. It was very clean and had everything you could want. Some really lovely touches were the milk and orange juice in the fridge for us when we arrived, as well as tea bags, Jammy Dodgers and Haribo sweets. We were particularly impressed with how well the owners catered for families, with a pool (including pool toys) family games, which the children loved, and a range of outdoor games - badminton, croquet and huge Connect 4. Although we didn't bring a dog, they would be well catered for, with toys and bedding there for them. On our first night we enjoyed sitting outside and looking out at the endless stars and when we felt a bit cold, there were blankets there for us to use to keep warm. The owners were lovely- really kind and friendly so we knew we could speak to them at any time if we encountered any problems, which we didn't. Bluebell House is in a perfect location as a base for exploring and we looked forward to coming back and relaxing after the busy days we spent in Somerset.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Welcome pack included many essentials: milk, bread, eggs, butter, orange juice, tea and coffee. Nice airy lounge, kitchen/dining area with excellent outdoor space. Having booked for a wedding we were attending, we unfortunately didn't get to maximise the plunge pool, and games on offer that would keep a family happily engaged for the duration. Bedrooms and bathrooms large, comfortable and well equipped, including toilet roll, towels and shower gel. Local pub/restaurant is literally 20 metres away and serves good food at a reasonable price.

One of the two double bedrooms on the ground floor is accessed via the other. Fortunately, our group have known each other since university 45 years ago.

Great location with plenty of parking , comfy beds and very clean decor and in great condition

Only one walk-in shower , a second one would be useful for the number of people.

The garden was a great place to play and relax, the kitchen was extremely well equipped, beds were comfortable, eating in the outside dining room was great, loved everything about it
