I give a high rate for hospitality. Host was kind enough to allow us checked in a little early and pretty responsive to all of my queries prior and during our stay. There are some points to note for those who wish to stay here. Good points first... As at time of my stay, the unit is looking very new. It looks recently renovated with new paint and tiles all around. Nice touch of decor and necessity. Kitchenware and all about kitchen is also commendable. A new fridge, filtered water dispenser; with cold and hot water outlet - and plenty of cookware. Guests are also supplied with generous amount of complementary instant coffee and tea (and crackers). The water supply is boosted by an electrical pump so its good consistent pressure in all bath as well as kitchen. Bed, pillow, blankets - comfy! Bunk beds are sturdy metals. Wifi works - good enough. Spacious overall interior. And everything inside was clean

But there are some caveats, maybe big caveats: 1 While aircond is available in all bed and living rooms, the design of partial doors for its bathrooms causes inefficient air escapes. For one, you need the bathroom to circulate air out but at the same time there is an influx of outside air temperature being brought in because of the bath doors are widely gapped - almost 1 feet worth of gaps at the top side of the door. The room with bunk beds feels especially warm despite cranking up the air-conditioning to its lowest temperature setting. Probably best to just replace with a full sized door. 2 Main gate to staircase access (unit is on 2nd floor) has a rather flimsy locking mechanism. This is a shared gate with those living on upper floors. Maybe due to just being abused or old worn out gate grill or simply malfunctioned - it's time for replacement for sure as the lever too could have been missing for a long time. 3 Overall building feels a little sketchy. It's an old building . The updates made by the owners renovation helped a lot with the interior but outside appearance is still just an old run down block of bricks.This is by no means of course a downside by the host or owner although visiting guests might find it difficult to get comfortable or even safe.
