About this cottage rental
Welcome to the Casas del Palomar (Dovecot houses), an enchanting location for you to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Las Casas del Palomar are handcrafted using wood, stone and traditional red kettle tiles in the artesan style. They are situated in a native oak and ash woodland where they blend beautifully with the surrounding vegetation.
The interior design is unique in both its structure and its decoration. The houses offer all the comforts necessary for an enjoyable stay in the countryside. Each home also has its own private garden within the grounds of the 2 hectare estate.
Even being only 50m away one house from the other, the field is so lush that the houeses seem to be isolated, but they are also suitable for groups of 14 people because they are very close to each other and both houses have large living rooms and spacious rooms.
The heating is oil fired with radiators in all rooms, and there is fire in the lounge, so it's impossible to get cold in the houses. Both in winter and in summer it is easy to regulate the temperature: thermostat, south windows, curtains and shutters.
No pool at home, but the public pool of La Losa, just 2 km far away is very nice and cozy, with large green spaces and restaurant service.

Hemos estado alojadas dos familias (cuatro adultos y cuatro niños) del 2 al 7 de abril de 2018 en El Palomar II, y la experiencia ha sido excelente.
Quiero destacar en primer lugar la amabilidad de Ana, la propietaria, tanto en los mensajes y llamadas previos a nuestra llegada, como una vez que ya estábamos allí.
La casa es muy amplia y está muy bien equipada: amplio salón, habitaciones espaciosas, y al tener dos plantas, el piso de arriba estaba "colonizado" por los niños, mientras los mayores estábamos tranquilos en la planta baja. Hay que valorar también el espacio que hay alrededor de la casa, donde los críos han estado trotando y corriendo con toda tranquilidad.
La ubicación también es muy buena, pues está apenas a 20 km de Segovia, 60 de Ávila y 40 de El Escorial, que eran las escapadas que queríamos hacer.
Era una gozada llegar a casa después de estar todo el día por ahí, y disfrutar de una casa tan acogedora.
Espero disfrutar nuevamente de la casa de El Palomar en una nueva visita a Segovia.

Estuvimos 6 personas, 2 perros y 1 bebé en EL PALOMAR II. Todo fue excepcional, la casa, el equipamiento, el trato, el entorno...
Tiene un precioso jardín privado, equipado con barbacoa, mesas y sillas para el exterior y unas vistas increíbles. La casa estaba equipada con todo lo necesario: cubertería, manteles, utensilios de cocina... incluso café, azúcar, sal, aceite...
Las habitaciones son súper cómodas, incluso comentamos que las sábanas eran muy muy agradables.
En fín, una pasada de casa, muy recomendable.

No se puede pedir más. Las casas son una maravilla y están equipadas con todo lo que necesitábamos. El entorno es como un bosque privado de robles y fresnos que te hace desconectar totalmente.
A destacar la confianza y trato con los propietarios.

Recibimiento, alojamiento y entorno acogedores.
La casa está bien ubicada, es bonita, cómoda y limpia. Cuenta con muchos servicios, barbacoa exterior, columpios, etcétera.
La atención muy buena pero echamos de menos poder despedirnos para comentar algún detalle como falta de sábanas en el sofá cama.
