We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The beds were by far the most comfortable we experienced during our entire trip around Japan. If only the other hotels had beds like these! The staff were friendly, the breakfast was perfectly good, the internet was fast, and the room was absolutely spotless. To top it all off, thanks to the beautiful weather, we had a fantastic view of Mt. Fuji from our Mt. Fuji View room.

It’s difficult to find anything to complain about with this hotel, as everything feels so nice and new. But if we really had to mention something, the food is quite expensive for what you get.

Very modern and family room was great for our family of four with two grown kids ( 16 and 20) . The view of Mount Fuji was spectacular.

Front desk was able to receive our luggage’s from previous hotel however they don’t offer forwarding luggages service and staff asked us to do it at 7/11 about 5 mins walk from hotel. We ended up pushing our luggages to ride the highway bus at the Tomei gotemba bus station back to Tokyo.

Rooms were very nice - clean and spacious. Good view of Mt. Fuji from the window. Good facilities in the room, including a kitchen, fridge and washing machine. Evening meal / menu was limited but decent quality. The hotel is new and high-tech and has a very modern vibe, with QR codes being used to open the door and order food.

Having come from Tokyo where we stayed at the Hilton, the staff at edit x seven were comparatively cold and seemed uninterested. On the first day we asked about recommendations on things to do, but the person at reception only suggested shopping or the shrimp cracker factory! At breakfast the coffee machine was not working on the first morning, on the second they said there was an extra charge (even though breakfast had been paid). Breakfast options were very limited.
