The Amazing Maisonette

Tastefully furnished - everything that you could need for a short stay - free parking was a bonus however it would be more awkward if you drove a large car as the parking spaces are quite small. Short walk to the town centre and not too much of a climb on the return ! - we went on a day trip to Lundy and found it very convenient.

No garden available - on the first night I found it hard to sleep as the fridge was making a continuous low humming sound and I only identified the problem the next morning - turning the fridge off and then back on again did the trick! The bed was super comfy however😄

The property was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. It was warm and comfortable and located in a quiet residential area. The kitchen provided everything we needed to prepare and cook food, including an oven and a microwave. The bed was very comfortable and there were televisions in both the living room and bedroom. The shower was excellent.

Before arriving at the property, I informed my hosts that as I didn't have a smartphone and therefore couldn't access the internet while travelling, I would be very grateful if the code to the lock box containing the key to the property could be texted to me rather than emailed or sent in a message via Booking.com. However, as the check-in time approached on my day of arrival, I had to text the owners requesting the code as they hadn't sent it to me. Unfortunately they had instead sent the code in a message via Booking.com.

Lovely and clean, well stocked and furnished. Parking was a huge bonus as parking around that area would be difficult.
