Fortress House Andaqi

This was a very unique stay in the middle of the Georgian wilderness in an old authentic house. We were soaked from the rain after a hike, when we arrived. The hosts immediatly made a fire for us where we could dry ourselves. Then they made an amazing dinner for us and always looked that we were comfortable. Best stay in Georgia! We highly recommend it!

The Place is incredible and Soso and Maya are amazing! We stained one night and both have the opinion that it was the absolut highlight of our trip. The fortress itself was built by Sosos family and himself. With lots of love and respect to history. Mayas food is homegrown, plenty and of amazing taste. WiFi is available and Communication works well with Google Translate. The fortress lies pretty much at the end of the road and can be reached with a SUV. The rooms are simple - and that’s part of what makes it so amazing as it is an authentic experience which is very very seldom to find. We can recommend the place with all our heart.
