A perfect stay in the very center of Georgia's main hiking region. Amazing hosts, view of Kazbegi mountain straight from the room, parking, and cute cats on the territory.

I liked everything and definitely will be back, can't wait until the owners build their own breakfast place.

It was honestly such a beautiful experience. We booked two rooms for four people for six nights, and from the very beginning, it already felt like home. The welcome was so warm and genuine, and Giorgi and Gega made sure we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. It was also my brother’s birthday during our stay, and they made it so special for us. It genuinely felt like the whole family was celebrating together - such a beautiful moment and one we’ll always remember. And it wasn’t just the birthday. It was everything coming together - the morning greetings, the little conversations, the warmth, the care, and the way they always checked if we were comfortable. We never felt like we were just guests staying at a hotel. It really became our home in Kazbegi. The rooms were beautiful too - clean, cozy, bright and very comfortable. But more than anything, it was the people who made this place so special for us. We loved the entire experience so much and genuinely didn’t want to leave. Wooden Hotel became our little home in Kazbegi, and we already know we’ll be back to our home there very soon ♥️

Nothing really. The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave

The hotel was reasonably comfortable, although basic. The location was a bit difficult to get to (up some steep hills of bad roads) and not near the center of town. There was no breakfast served and nothing within easy walking distance
