Only 599m from Acropolis, 1BD 4th Floor Apartment

The location in a wonderful neighborhood setting and close to the Acropolis. Great family run neighborhood restaurants and good transit links. The unit was well equipped, but no trash bags to facilitate emptying the trash during longer stays was a drawback. Very comfortable bed. Great value for the money.

The major inconvenience was the main couch in the living room was virtually unusable due to a major failure of cushions on the right side. The previously mentioned lack of trash bags to facilitate emptying the trash.

The apartment is on the 4th floor of a centrally located building, within easy walking distance of everything you need. The apartment itself is beautiful, spotless, and fully equipped for a comfortable self-catering stay. It’s spacious, with a lengthy balcony that makes viewing the outside pleasant. The host was friendly, responsive, and helpful.

Ausgezeichnete Lage für Athenaufenthalt. Klimaanlage erfüllt alle Temperaturwünsche. Schöne gemütliche Wohnung, wo man nach dem Stadtleben Ruhe genießen kann.

Man darf keinen Luxus erwarten. Der Boden im Schlafzimmer hatte starke Abnutzung und obwohl er mit einem Teppich bedeckt ist, spürt man Unebenheiten. Wir bekamen nicht ganz das Appartment vom Bild..aber ein fast gleiches, aber verwirrend. Die Sauberkeit in 2 Räumen ließ absolut zu wünschen übrig und so hätte ich es nicht an Gäste übergeben. Wir haben selbst das Badezimmer und die Küche geputzt...Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer waren sehr sauber! Insgesamt haben wir uns wohl gefühlt. Wir haben angeboten bekommen, dass man nachträglich alle Räume für uns schön machen wollte, wir wollten aber lieber direkt selbst putzen, um dann direkt den Urlaub weiterlaufen zu lassen.

The location was ideal, particularly for a first time visit to Athens. A safe location with plenty of restaurants and variety of food for all parties. In easy reach of the Metro and central travel zones, there is never any panic with travelling around as the maps are clearly indicated and easy enough to follow. Friendly and helpful locals, all amenities in one place, relaxing and good weather for this time of year (October). The apartment was equipped with air conditioning ideal for monitoring hot/cold temperature. Instructions to the apartment were clearly advised also. Comfortable and relaxing.

I found that the balcony was a little narrow, though ideal for viewing the evening activity, I didn't feel safe due to the height (being on the 4th floor), but this is purely down to the individual and personal preference. A solid wall would have offered a little more security rather than a railing, but not a criticism.
