Nice apartment,costly,cold due to poor heating system parking extra,late checking out extra £20 each

The layout of the apartment is very nice and clean there was plenty of hot water I had a bath at 2am and it was nice and hot ,we weren't disturbed by noise from other guests also hand wash etc was provided and plenty of towels,there were 3 televisions 1 in each bedroom and 1in the living room I was frustrated that I couldn't watch the 1 in the bedroom unless I opened accounts giving my personal information I didn't do this I have never anywhere before and have watched TV without needing to go through this especially after paying so much £380 for 1 night of 16 hrs and was out 5 hours in the evening.

I didn't like the fact I was very cold the whole stay there was no heat at all the radiators were cold yet the temperature control on the wall said 19 degrees I contacted Mark who said he could try to make it warmer but was unable to get the apartment hot as the heating was run by a water pump heating system I feel being cold all night after paying £380 isn't acceptable if it's winter heaters should be supplied for guests I have health issues that stipulate I must stay warm I must point out this isn't the only property I have been cold in mainly due to the heat being controlled by WiFi so guests can't turn up the heating and must contact the manager for heat in some cases are charged for it being done or messages not responded to.parking is a further £20 and an extended checkout is another £20 I wouldn't pay extra so left on time I feel they could give someone paying £380 and extra hour free especially after being cold due to their inadequate heating system this upset me obviously I wouldn't be bothered if it wasn't December and warm but it wasn't my whole body is hurting the bed was hard for me too so I couldn't sleep this is why I wanted to watch TV but couldn't,a washing up sponge would be good as stains won't remove from cups with a dish cloth 2 were stained on arrival and a pod left in the coffee machine , teabags could be better as didn't taste nice.

Fabulous stay, would recommend anyone looking to book!

When we arrived the owner came to greet us and informed us of how to access the apartment etc. He was super friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was absolutely gorgeous and spotlessly clean. It was very spacious and perfect for us as a group. The location is fab and you are really close to the city centre, and to drive anywhere is super easy. We will definitely be staying again!

Excellent clean apartment in a great location.

A wonderfully clean, well presented apartment. Everything was brand new (or certainly seemed it). Great location - just a 10 minute walk into the city. The roof terrace is an added bonus & will be lovely in the warmer weather. Secure parking added to the great stay. We'll definitely return if we stay in York again.

The only issue we had was having a knock on the door at 10.30am saying we should have checked out at 10am. We had paid for late check out so was told by the guy who came that he would check. He didn't come back to apologise & even when I handed the key card back in, there was no apology then either. Just a bit more communication between staff would have prevented this.

Lovely clean apartment,very modern and would definitely stay again

Extremely clean and well maintained, great location short walk in to the centre of York.

Struggled to warm the apartment up, was quite cold, had to call reception for help with heating as only they could switch it on which we were unaware of.

Excellent value for money , beautiful apartment

Very clean , and extremely well presented. High quality fixtures and fittings. Very comfortable beds and linen. Everything has been thought of to give people a comfortable stay.

Excellent accommodation

This apartment is off the top shelves, the location is excellent to walk to centre , garage is very good , staff were great , I can highly recommend this to anyone as very few AB&B are to the level of this property. Could not find fault with this apartment or staff.

Good Aprtment but require attention to detail

The location was excellent. The Host was very responsive and helpful The parking lot next to the gym with charged parking was good. It is part of the facility and owned by property that could have been free for residents, but they charged for it. The Host provided one fan as there was no conditioning.

The single beds had tires without any lock, and the beds were moving, and one of the adult family members fell from the bed twice during sleep. There was no shower in the master bedroom, only a bathtub, which was inconvenient. Not even a hand shower in the tub, only a faucet. Practically only one bathroom in the hallway had a shower. The elevator was not working, and we had our apartment on the 3rd floor; we had to carry our luggage all the way up. NO Conditioning, but was provided—one fan for 2 rooms

I would recommend it to anyone and we would stay there again.

It was very comfortable and convenient. The apartment was clean. The beds were comfortable. Tea and coffee was provided, which was much appreciated.

The only thing to improve is to have a fan (or AC). But this is not a deal breaker at all. We just happen to be in York during a heatwave.

Beautiful apartment in good location for walking into the centre of York

Beautifully furnished apartment, ideal for our visit (2 couples) and easy short walk to the centre. The apartment was newly finished and so had one or two minor teething issues but the hosts and staff were eager to put things right and they had no bearing on our stay. Having on-site parking to support both cars was perfect. Thoroughly recommend the apartment and stay. would visit again!
