Clean property but improvements required

The property was clean

The parking space is terrible and very difficult to use especially with children as it’s on a slope and car doors can accidentally hit the sides and cause vehicle damage. No knives at property so cooking was very difficult as had to use eating knives to cut food

Comfortable and cosy home in fantastic Birmingham location.

The house was beautiful and generally in good repair. Little touches like the towels and table being laid was a lovely welcome. It was generally very quiet and the WiFi and TV was good. It is near the supermarket, retail park, Birmingham city centre, university, and gym. The house felt secure, it was hassle free to enter on arrival, and the host was very responsive. The house was well stocked with cooking equipment, plates, dishes, cuttlery, glasses, mugs, pans, colander, toilet roll, bedding, and towels. There was a drive way for parking (though a little tight for larger cars). The house has a really nice relaxing atmosphere to it and felt like a home for the weekend.

We had a wonderful stay, and only to nitpick the following things would have made it 10/10 - Unfortunately the gas oven wasn't working but host was apologetic and said they will get it fixed. The dishwasher was out of order on arrival. The shower was tricky, we hadn't realised to pull cord next to mirror to put hot water on until the last night but then it was a bit of a mix of the taps to get right temperature but it does work well when you know how. One side of the double bed was a bit lumpy (probably solvable with a mattress topper). And I would recommend taking a blanket for the evening as the front room is a bit drafty (even in the summer). Please don't let these points put you off but just as a heads up to plan around or check with the host (re: oven). The host was fantastic and very accommodating in trying to fix any issues we mentioned.

The house was amazing and had all the facilities and utilities. Had a really nice backyard with seating and the area was really nice.

Overall a good stay.

The property was close to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where we needed to be. It was welcoming and very spacious it had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had a great sleep. There were one or two places where it could have been cleaner but overall a good stay.

I had to sort the bath plug out it was full of hair.

Comfy upstairs but downstairs needs cleaning.

Eric sorted my problem efficiently when I contacted him. Upstairs was clean and fresh. Beds and pillows were comfy. Downstairs wasn’t to my standard of cleaning. The floor was sticky, the kitchen cupboards weren’t in the best condition eg hanging off and damaged with sticky labels stating pots etc, which weren’t necessary. The microwave was dirty (this needs cleaning) and the bbq outside was filthy. The tv wouldn’t work but after a few hours of determination we managed to watch it. The boiler continued to switch on and off all night which was loud in the single bedroom above. The location was good for the hospital visit. Neighbours were quiet.
