Very homely apartment in excellent location.

Great location in Stow. Very cozy and modern flat in a characterful old building. Nice touches such as tea and coffee provided.

Unfortunately no parking but there is a free car park nearby at Tescos.

Location was excellent and having an equipped kitchenette was appreciated when we chose to stay in. Nicely presented and comfortable.

There is evidence of poor maintenance and or little ongoing effort to keep the maintenance up to the property as whole. For example, the hand held shower holder was broken, sliding door handle had to be physically screwed back on after it half fell off. The overhead shower rose does not operate correctly, so there’s no wow shower experience. Significant lack of detailed cleaning throughout, such as evidence of mould in the bathroom and cobwebs on the windows. Placemats were dirty and we had to wash again before using. While it may not be this way, the lounge and its cushions did not feel clean. Lounge did not invite a comfortable lay down after a big day.

Good but inconvenient

Location is central and the property itself is a novelty (renovated church).

Parking is difficult. The listing states parking is available - but it’s not: there’s free streetparking or paid parking, but it’s subject to availability. We had issues finding nearby parking. Check-in process is challenging and bizarre. In order to get the key code, the host asked me to call 1 hour before checking in. Since there’s spotty mobile network connection in the Cotswolds, it was hard to get a hold of the host. When we finally got the host on the phone, she asked as to call again once we’re at the property then she’ll give the key code. What could possibly be the reason for this unnecessarily inconvenient and stressful check-in process? All other properties, whether an airbnb or a hotel, provide the check-in details before the arrival date. If you value an easy check-in process, skip this property.

Perfectly located, Cosy apartment

The property is in an amazing location close by to the facilities. We also liked the coziness of the apartment and how it had everything needed for a weekend stay.

Only one thing to mention was the fan in the bedroom didn’t work. If the temperature was warmer we may have struggled without the fan as there are no wi does to open with it being an old church renovation.
