Fabulous apartment and well located. Great amenities.

Fabluous decor and stunning architectural features. Biscuits and milk were lovely on arrival. Parking space was great too. Comfortable bed and lovely and warm apartment. Kitchen was well equipped :) We had a wonderful time.

Toilet seat needs fixing! A shelf would be useful in the shower as nowhere to put soap, shampoo etc. A rubber mat would also help as it felt quite slippy. A dustpan and brush would also be great so we could keep on top of dropping bits in the kitchen. These are minor issues though as it was really lovely.

Great Location and Charming Spacious Clean Accommodations

Location is superb, roomy and well appointed, very clean and nicely decorated. This is our third return trip to this property and we enjoy it with a couple of small reservations. We are old, so climbing up narrow twisting staircase to get in with baggage is a little challenging, but worth it.

They really need to fix the toilet seat that is holding on on one side only (it was the same last year and we assumed it would have been fixed by now). It would be very helpful if they had some place in the shower to put shampoo and soap except on the shower floor, which for older people is again a challenge reaching down to the floor and having no handhold in the shower to steady one. Again it is not a "I wont come again' situation, but it would make things a lot safer and easier.

Bring Clqimbing Gear

It is a conversion from a 2nd floor area in a very old building, well decorated and furnished.

The apartment is on varying levels with steps up and down to the kitchen, the bath and the bedroom. Some steps are different heights, requiring great care. The entrance hall stairs from the ground floor are spiral with very narrow treads, making large bags (or people) very difficult to bring to the main living floor.

All perfect except the “Sofabed”.

The location, the styling and the kitchen

The sofabed is not good for sleeping. Not comfortable for two people. It was not made up although i have mentioned that there are two couples coming (husbands and wives) We have to figure out the setting up and make up our own bed and look for beddings ourselves. In the end we have to place the mattress on the floor to sleep to avoid back pain. So one couple have the room and the other slept on the mattress in the TV area.

Amazing!

The apartment is simply amazing and so characteristic, we often found people taking pics out of the door. Also inside is so charming but with all amenities and comforts. The host also need a mention, I forgot my ipad in the properties and after they found it, they organized to get it back to me.

Charming location, but has uncontrolled flooding in entry with mold issues and poor communication

Adorable cottage with fantastic location in Stow-on-the-Wold. Enjoyable kitchen space and pleasantly surprising amount of lighting for an old building. Low doorways and some uneven flooring as to be expected with a historic apartment add to the charm but could be a hazard for younger or older guests.

While the location and flat itself were charming, poor management makes this was a very mixed bag. The entry to the flat has been flooded for months (looking back through the guest book) with the flooring soaking wet and significant smell of mold. There was also mold growing on the bathroom ceiling and shower. This makes the location unhealthy and potentially dangerous for guests with asthma. In addition, instead of providing an address, the directions to both the flat and parking spot (which are in separate locations) are provided in a long descriptive paragraph which refers to two businesses that have long ago closed and been replaced with other businesses. The emailed instructions and written instructions are even different, with the instructions inside the flat saying it is the 5th spot and the email saying the 6th spot. Photos and a map including with the booking reminders are a simple solution used by other locations with tricky locations--I have no idea why that is not being used to better the experience of guests. When I checked in with local shops to see if they knew which parking spot the flat was assigned, they were unable to answer except to tell me two spots that had recently been parked in incorrectly by equally confused guests.

A house full of peace and warmth.

The location is very nice - near to the town centre (Market Square), convenient access to shops, restaurants, bus stations, etc. The environment and surroundings are great. The house was warm and comfortable, just like home.

The space of hallway downstairs was crowded; the stair going upstairs to the house was very steep and felt a bit dangerous. It would be much better if a pair of railings are installed.

Charming apartment in great location but might not be suitable for older travelers with agility prob

The location was phenomenal, spacious lodging, exceptionally clean and the heating was excellent in this cold wet winter.

The very narrow uneven staircase leading to the apt. was difficult to manage-no hand rail and exceptionally narrow, particularly trying to get bags up. The place was charming but one had to be aware of the very low door openings and uneven entrance to bedroom.

Stow on the wold stay

Location and uniqueness of apartment. Large 1 bed apartment, well presented and spotlessly clean.

All the small details were missing. I confirmed twice before arrival that the sofabed would be set up and it wasn't, so we had to spend time arranging this when we got to the property. The strict check-in time of 4pm is very late so we had to wait on a rainy day until this time and then wait another hour for the sheets to be organised for the sofa bed. 3 adults were allocated 2 toilet rolls for 3 nights, there are no coffee pods for the coffee machine (if not planning to supply, remove machine?). No bathroom essentials (eg body wash, shampoo) are supplied which are an easy thing to improve the quality of the stay. The instructions to get to the property are unclear and excessively long and seemed generic for all properties supplied

Great apartment and location

Comfy bed, great bathroom and shower. Plenty of room for the three us. Fantastic location, friendly staff on the phone and lovely little town. We would love to stay again soon!

Slight mould and damp in the entrance. Directions need updating, as there is no clothing shop below. Directions to the parking space were difficult to find. It would be better to have the picture in the welcome pack that is emailed before the stay, rather than just in the apartment.

Nice apartment in a great location.

The location in central Stow was excellent, and the parking space was useful but I'm very glad I read the property details properly as we'd planned on bringing our 4x4 which wouldn't have worked at all. We brought our mini and it only just fitted. When they say a small car, they really mean it! The apartment was clean, nicely furnished with a modern bathroom and kitchen, and well equipped.

We had to hunt for the property information when we arrived which we finally found in a drawer. It would have been nice for it to be on a surface so we could access it immediately. It could also do with a refresh as being paper it's become a bit dog eared and tatty. User manuals for some of the appliances would have been useful.
