Relaxing apartment in Naxos by the harbor

This new clean apartment with balcony overlooking the harbor area was everything we needed for a weeks break out of the city. Above the harbor restaurants and a short walk to a beautiful sunset spot one way, and St George’s beach the other. Easy to walk from the ferry terminal. Everything in the kitchen worked - kettle, coffee machine, washing machine and induction cooktop. Host was responsive to questions but couldn’t fix everything immediately- not expected.

It is relatively new and some things need tweaking - for example the oven had no shelves so no cooking, and there was no microwave or dishwasher. We aren’t on holiday to do loads of cooking but something to heat food is a good idea.

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and had everything we needed. We particularly loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying the spectacular view of Naxos harbor while having breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening.

The host was delightful and met us on arrival. Everything was at least as good as or exceeded out expectations. The location was fantastic; central and within the old town, close to all the trinket shops and restaurants

Spacious modern quiet apartment close to port and castle town

The apartment is an 8 min walk from the port and 2 min walk to “Castle town” as well as tons of restaurants to choose from. It’s the perfect location. The place is also spacious, with plenty of couches and outdoor patio to relax. We love that the patio has a view of the old ruins from the Venetian castle. The washer is a plus to do laundry and the host’s mom is so nice! She met us to give us the keys and made us homemade lemonade and vodka. What a treat! We had a great time at the apartment and communication with the host was easy. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone coming to Naxos

Everything was great! There are stairs to get up to the apartment though, which can be tough if you have bad knees, but that’s how everything is like in Naxos.

Sleek apartment in an unbeatable location

Very sleek and spacious place, feels brand new and perfectly clean. If you don’t mind a little noise from the bar downstairs (though the walls are thick and fan drowns most of it out), the location is almost unbeatable. Right in the heart of it all and a five minute walk from the ferry. The host was super accommodating and communicative.

The listing led us to think there would be two balconies, one with a church view and one with a sea view. But there’s two separate units, the one we booked only had the church view.

Scam beware

If you booked a room with a sea view and ended in a back alley above a noisy bar, same. This property is a far cry from the ad. In pictures it looks like a modern place with a sea view, in reality is a hospital like room that is always very very noisy. Cherry on top no one came to pick up the trash or clean the room not in even once during our 5 day stay. Scammed is not even enough to describe how I feel. Daylight robbery. I paid nearly 200 euros a night to not sleep for days. It ruined our trip. Everything was horrible.

There was not a single thing I liked. Owner claimed i booked the room with no view that incidentally is the same price as the bigger room with a view. Got scammed, hated it.

Very good choice for Naxos Chora!!

The property exceeds expectations, it is perfectly located within minutes from everywhere in Naxos Chora. It is spotless clean and has all the facilities needed. Panayiotis, our host was waiting to welcome us and gave us advice for everything.

Personally I do not have anything to add here. As the apartment is located centrally, the area is busy until late hours.

My mother and I stayed at Abadel for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. The apartment is lovely, very clean, and equipped with all the amenities you might need. The views over the port are stunning, and the area is quiet and safe. There’s also a nice bar just downstairs. We were warmly welcomed by Panagiotis’ mother, who is absolutely lovely. Panagiotis himself was always available and very helpful—he answered the phone immediately when we needed assistance with a taxi. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

●Fabulous airy,newly renovated apartment!...still has protective film on some appliances and bathroom door! ●Fantastic location, watch the world go by and boats and ferries come and go! ●Quality appliances and nice bed linen! ●5 minute walk from the port. Had a lovely 3 night stay!

●No fault of the owner obviously, but building work taking place next door, so can be noisy.

Modern apartment in Naxos

Clean and modern, set in a central location in the old town, a short walk from the ferry. Very comfortable and well appointed. The owner was easy to contact, obliging and very quick to respond. It is a newly renovated apartment with stylish features and a great view from the balcony of port activity, as well as the nearby islands. The Temple of Apollo is an easy 10 minutes walk away, and 5 min to the taxi and bus areas. There is plenty of hot water, an unobtrusive airconditioning system and good soundproofing which all make for comfortable living in a bustling part of Naxos. Any number of restaurants and cafes are available less than 5 minutes walk away, and several supermarkets are nearby.

The stairs leading up to the apartment were a challenge on the first day for two seniors with their luggage, but not an ongoing problem for daily coming and going.

Je recommande, sans aucune hésitation, de séjourner à l’Abadéli. J’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour.

La grandeur de l’appartement, la luminosité, la vue imprenable sur le port, le confort. L’emplacement au centre-ville, près des restaurants, des cafés, des boutiques. La plage Agios Georgios à une quinzaine de minutes de marche.

Peut-être quelques décorations sur les murs, comme des cadres ou autre, afin de personnaliser un peu l’appartement. Mais c’est vraiment pas majeur.

Maravilla de apartamento en Naxos

El apartamento es tal y como aparece en las fotos: nuevo, limpio, cómodo y con una ubicación increíble. Las vistas da gusto disfrutarlas a todas horas, y ¡se cocina con ellas y se cena con ellas! Puedes conectarte a Netflix o a otra plataforma que tengas (las niñas lo agradecieron). El anfitrión además, está siempre disponible para cualquier cosa que pueda surgir (no tuvimos problema alguno). Nos gestionó el alquiler de coche que le solicitamos y se adaptó a nuestro horario en todo momento. Viajamos una pareja con dos niñas de 11 y 8 años y el espacio bien para todos. A ellas les encantó!

Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία στο κέντρο . Ειχε όλα τα απαραίτητα που χρειαστήκαμε για την διαμονή μας . Θα είναι από τις πρώτες μας επιλογές όταν έρθουμε ξανά στην Νάξο

Σαν το σπίτι μας!!!

Το διαμέρισμα είναι ολοκαίνουριο και πάρα πολύ καθαρό. Πρέπει να ήμασταν οι πρώτοι που το χρησιμοποιήσαμε. Είναι ευρύχωρο και το στρώμα άνετο για ύπνο (πολύ καλής ποιότητα). Βρίσκεται 5 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το λιμάνι, στο κέντρο της Χώρας. Σε ευχαριστούμε πολύ Παναγιώτη για την φιλοξενία!!!!
