Good and easy, close to the station so carrying my luggage was not much of a hassle close to convenient stores and surrounded by great and affordable restaurants

日中は賑やかさもあり夜が更けると静けさもあり部屋はアイディアコンパクトにまとまっていて何不自由なく過ごせました。

The biggest issue is that it isn't actually a hotel or an inn; it is a three-story apartment building with no elevator. Since we had large pieces of luggage, we had to carry them up several flights of stairs—a real struggle for older people. There was no coin laundry on-site; the nearest one was quite a walk away and wasn't open 24 hours, which was inconvenient. Dining options were very limited, as the place is located in a truly rural area. Fortunately, it was close enough to Omiya that we could go there for meals.
