8 / 10Excellent·Sep 2026
The property was a generous size and contained everything we needed. Light and airy with good views onto the street. The kitchen was particularly well stocked with crockery etc.
The access instructions could be clearer by stating that the entrance door is immediately on your right after the gate. The entrance & stairway are poorly decorated with peeling paint and need a good clean. The water temperature of the shower was iffy ranging from warm to cool every minute or so.

Its situation, right in the centre of Sidmouth. Very convenient for the promenade, shops and the Anchor pub.
The front door and stairwell could do with an bit of tlc, the apartment itself was well cared for.
8 / 10Excellent·Aug 2026
Location was great, very close to everything we needed.
The family staying above us let their children run and jump about all the time they were in the apartment. If we had booked for a week we would have possibly left to go home before the week was finished.
6 / 10Average·Oct 2025
Convenient location & parking provided in local park.
Requested no feathers (allergy) & got feathers! Appalling bed linen & looked like it hadn’t been washed. One duvet totally unacceptable for hygiene. Dusty & grubby entrance. Bin full of previous occupants rubbish. No instructions for disposal of rubbish & no response from Finest Retreats when enquired by phone.
