River Views, Private Fishing & 9 min Train to York

The property is stunning with bundles of character and quirkiness. The moment you step inside you feel welcome and looked after. The garden is perfect to relax in and have a barbecue if you wish a gorgeous patio area with a very large table and chairs. A separate decked area with plenty of seating by the river. Your every whim is catered for. Plenty of room for parking. Located in a pretty village between York and Leeds approx 30 minutes drive to each city. There is a local shop but limit provisions Sainsbury’s 10 minutes drive away.

Had a bit of trouble with telly and not being able to get any internet on it to watch shows but we linked up my laptop instead.

Beautiful location.

Some of the beds were too soft and one of the single beds had support slats that were out of position and had to be moved around. Bed in downstairs bedroom could have been bigger as it was a very large room.

Booked this as a treat for my husband for his milestone birthday. Lots of room for a family of 5 and the dog. Beautiful house. Full of character. Everyone loved it. My husband enjoyed making use of the fishing pegs. He was in angler heaven. Idyllic surroundings. A little bit of paradise. We didn't want to leave and we will definitely go back. Stephanie was the perfect host. She was very responsive and helpful with recommendations in the area. The breakfast items were very welcoming and a lovely surprise. Would highly recommend and we have already booked for some keen angler friends for another milestone birthday. Thanks Stephanie.
