Casa Iris is a lovely property on three levels situated at an altitude of about 500 metres, in the locality of Gombitelli, municipality of Camaiore. Entering inside, the entrance is on the living area with dining room and kitchenette in one room, in which there is a pellet stove and a wood stove that heats the entire flat. The area consists of a large, divisible wooden table with benches and chairs to comfortably enjoy meals in company. Below are sofas and armchairs for moments of relaxation and/or reading. On the upper floor, accessed by a convenient staircase, there is a triple bedroom with one double and one single bed and a bathroom with bathtub. On the top floor there is a further triple room with a double and a single, a double room and a bathroom with shower. In a further room there is a bunk bed with two single beds. Outside there is a large garden with a panoramic veranda and barbecue. From 15 June to 31 August there is also an above-ground swimming pool. The garden and veranda can be used all year round. Car access is via a ramp shared with another property with which the parking area is shared, while the parking spaces are reserved.

The village of Gombitelli is a picturesque hamlet of Camaiore. It is famous for its norcina art and for having developed an 'all-local' language over time. Gombitelli is a small village nestled in the woods in the hills. It is located on a ridge of Mount Calvaria, 492 metres above sea level and has a few hundred inhabitants. A symbol of the village's history is the castle that belonged to the Nobles of Montemagno. Today, the ruins of the houses and two towers remain. The famous seaside resorts of Lido di Camaiore, Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are a short distance away. About an hour's drive away you can visit the picturesque villages of the Cinque Terre, accessible by dedicated train. Also nearby are the fantastic cities of art: Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Mountain lovers can reach characteristic resorts in the Garfagnana area and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, which can be visited in both summer and winter for the scenic wonders of hiking and winter sports. Nearby are also the famous marble quarries of Carrara, which can be visited by organised excursions on site.
