The villa and its location was superb! At the top of it's own private track with views over the fields and vineyards, it couldn't have been better for a relaxing family holiday. Plenty of room for our party to have their own space, and the kitchen and communal areas were well appointed and comfy. The private pool with infinity view was a big hit with all the family, especially on warm days, even in September. A 10 minute drive up to Castellina with a great selection of restaurants to choose from, and only 30 mins for day trips to Sienna, San Gimignano and 50 mins to Florence. A perfect stay in the Heart of Chianti.
Nothing really. The air con units were a bit temperamental but probably just need a quick service. When we did have a water overflow problem in the kitchen the hosts were quick to respond, and we made great friends with the cleaning team with a bit of help from Google translate.
