Well equipped self-catering home-away-from-home. Wonderfully decorated typical of old world Karoo-charm. Location superb!

Would have been more convenient if the shared bathroom had a shower - hence all guests ended up needing to use the only shower found in the single en-suite bedroom. However, all the positives overshadows this slight inconvenience, hence trusting the owners consider this as constructive comment rather than a negative.😉

The location was excellent especially for Stoeptasting and to the shops. The bedrooms were beautifully furnished with massive beds and comfy linen. Beautifully decorated and modern touches in a beautiful old house. Felt very safe and comfortable. The host also supplied bottled water and chocolates and snacks which was sweet. Host was very good at communicating.

I dont think this house should be advertised for 8 people to be comfortable. It does have "4" bedrooms but it needs to somehow be clear that 2 of the bedrooms are interleading. Also the bathrooms have recently been redone which on the face of it is nice but there were issues. The house only has 2 bathrooms where the "main" bathroom has a tiny bath that not even a short person can really fit in comfortably and the bathroom with the only shower is ensuite to another room is completely impractical for other guests. Shower and toilet pressure also werent great. I'd say its better suited for a family of 4 where people can come and go and use the en suite shower. Or the host should install a shower in the main bathroom.

There was no attention to detail. House plants were dead or dying - over watered. The house has damp problems - can smell it in the bottom bedroom and bathroom.
