A hidden gem.

Everything the place was absolutely amazing and so was the host Mark , we got a bit lost on the way Mark called us and picked us up !!! What a amazing spot the decor was beautiful . We were left snacks a lovely bottle of wine and some beers, there was even a lovely welcome sign in the room.

Beautiful accomodation in a great location with a fabulous host

Due to a lot of travel disruption, we didn’t arrive until almost 1am. Mark, the host, came to greet us even at this untimely hour. There was even a welcome sign made for my daughter. The Hide Out was a great choice, it was very clean and comfortable and in a great location. We also loved the decor. Mark could not have been more helpful, he went over and above to ensure that we had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing host and apartment in a great location

Mark, the host, was very welcoming and accommodating. They sent an instruction video of how to find the property which was really useful and even left us with a bottle of wine!! We had an early ferry booked and Mark went over and above in the morning to help us dig our car out of the snow (worse than predicted) on a Sunday morning and make the ferry on time. Massive thank you again!!! Would definitely stay here again, great location, lovely apartment and the fabulous if you have dogs. Shame we weren’t staying longer to enjoy the area! Will recommend to others!

Best booking I've made

Fantastic host. Clear instructions to find the property but then went the extra mile with an arrival video and even dropping a map pin for me to follow as we got closer. Friendly welcome and lovely setup, warm and welcoming. Big room with two doubles beds, warm and clean with a decent kitchen and lovely bathroom. Tea and coffee with fresh milk provided and even offered a beer to settle in! Excellent.

My only criticism is that the mattress was soft for my taste, but that's purely a personal thing as I prefer a hard mattress.

Good hideout for a nigh away

The flat is really cosy, bigger than what it looks in the photos and it was very accessorised. The host, Mark, was very friendly, available to answer questions and help when needed. He even met us to hand over the keys and show the place. He also organised a thoughtful welcome sign and drinks. Parking was easy, right outside the place.

The wifi was not working much unfortunately which made it difficult to stay connected or watch tv. Mark was helpful and gave us other networks to connect, however, none of them were fast and even the tv was loosing connection. Not great since the phone reception was very low too. Not a huge deal, but the shower's head stopper was broken and it was hard to shower for my husband as he's tall and had to bend to shower. Could be fixed.

Cosy stay in Belfast

The Hideout is a super cosy place, in a great location in Belfast. Mark was a fantastic host, always available to respond to questions and super helpful when we got lost finding the place (our fault, not his!). There is a bus stop right outside the house but we had our car with us so didnt avail of it (next time!). We had our dog with us and there are lovely walks in the woods beside Belfast castle which is close by. Will definitely stay again!

Quiet.

Not private. Common laundry right next to our bedroom & lock didn’t work. No lock on our side to the owners home. That door was opened while we were out & no one should have been in our space while we were renting it!

Mark was an excellent host and we were thoroughly welcomed. He provided lots of details about the local area which were super helpful. I would definitely book again to stay here!

Loved this experience. The layout and facilities were first class. Easy to find with lots of modern appliances. Highly recommend,the host couldn’t have been nicer. Short taxi ride into city centre. Absolutely perfect stay.

A hidden gem 💎

This is a hidden gem, so pleased we chose this over others, the owner cleverly has impeccable taste, it was spotlessly clean and super cosy, very comfortable beds and the location is excellent, we hopped on the bus into the centre and taxi back after a nice meal in Belfast. Highly recommend, we will be back in the summer. Thanks Mark for your hospitality.
