Mt fuji pure view BBQ mood terrace

We were allowed to check in about two hours early because the house had already been prepared. We really appreciated this. The house itself was absolutely excellent. According to the information we were able to find, it is around 15 years old, but judging by its condition and level of equipment, you would never guess that. I have rarely seen a house that was so technologically advanced and thoughtfully designed. The bathtub can fill itself automatically and maintain the selected water temperature. The bathroom also has a full ventilation system with drying, heating, cooling, and standard ventilation modes. In general, the ventilation and climate systems throughout the house are very well designed. On the ground floor, there are electric shutters that can be fully closed at night. The house was clean and well maintained. The furniture and appliances were in good condition, and nothing felt worn out. We really liked the idea of having a projector in the garage. The kitchen is equipped with a huge amount of appliances and everything needed for cooking. I would also especially mention the excellent washer-dryer. However, perhaps the best part of the house is the third floor. On a clear morning, you can sit there with a cup of coffee and look directly at Mount Fuji. That view alone makes you want to come back. I believe much of the credit goes to the original owner who designed and built the house and later handed it over to Toroku for management. The house genuinely feels as though it was carefully thought through in every detail.

There are, however, a few suggestions for the management company. It would be good to provide coffee capsules according to the number of guests and the length of stay. We also could not find either a garment steamer or a regular iron. Interestingly, the house had not only a hair dryer but even a hair straightener, so the absence of a standard iron was somewhat surprising. AND A SEPARATE REQUEST FOR FUTURE GUESTS: PLEASE REPLACE OR SERVICE THE BICYCLES. It is great that several bicycles are provided and that guests can use them free of charge. However, their current condition needs attention. On some of them, the gears do not shift properly or do not work at all. On one bicycle, the light still did not work even after the batteries were replaced. In addition, the bicycles have very small wheels, which makes long-distance rides quite difficult. We still managed to cycle all the way around the lake, ride to a neighboring town, and return to the house. We completed the trip, but it was extremely, extremely difficult specifically because of the bicycles. They are still suitable for short rides near the house, but in their current condition I would definitely not rely on them for a full circuit around the lake. Despite these comments, the house itself left an exceptionally strong impression. It is modern, very well equipped, comfortable for a longer stay, and located in a fantastic place. Being able to drink coffee in the morning while looking at Mount Fuji was one of the most memorable moments of our stay in Kawaguchiko.

The provided bikes were awesome. The house was very spacious and comfortable to live in.

Labelled as a 3 bedroom accommodation but the "third bedroom" is not really a bedroom. Still made it work though and the place was lovely

Ce serait mieux d’avoir deux vrais chambres à coucher. Parce qu’à notre arrivée il y avait deux chambres à futons et une seule chambre avec 4(!) lits (« européens »). Sinon, le logement est spacieux
