The house is very spacious and has everything you need for a proper stay, not just sleeping. Host was very responsive and quick to help.
Sometimes it seemed like the house was barely hanging on. The door to the bath kept falling out, gas was unstable, a lot of the washi paper in the screen doors is torn, chairs were broken with screws falling out, there were cockroaches (both dead and alive).

We particularly like the vibe of the whole house. it gives us an opportunity to experience what it feels like to stay in a traditional japanese home. Plus it is situated in a cosy neighbourhood; so it gives us a piece of mind whilst staying there. Another plus point is that it is just a few steps away from seeing the majestic Mt Fuji.
