Beautiful home on a working farm, situated in a gorgeous little village not far from Keswick or Penrith. We were welcomed at the door and couldn’t fault the hosts. Lynne was great at giving advice on the area and as it is lambing season, we managed to have a walk over to one of their fields to see the baby lambs! Although a shared bathroom, was never an issue using facilities and was immaculately clean. We would certainly return.

Very friendly hosts and it was so clean and looked after. It was very homely and it felt very private. The host helped us plan our day out, photocopying maps and circling routes for us. She was very kind and hospitable and shall be recommending it to anyone that comes up north!

The location is perfect, 5 minute drive from Pooley Bridge itself. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and ideal for what we needed. Overnight oats with fruit, along with pain au chocolat, bananas/oranges and tea/coffee or orange juice. The garden was also immaculate! Lovely hosts too. Highly recommend
