Karen and Alison are amazing hosts, there attention to details is second to none. The facilities are of a good standard, breakfast was fantastic with a lot of choice. There jam is delicious along with the other goodies. Thank you for the Scottish tablet is was devine. We'll definitely be returning. This is a gem of a find.

Stayed for a week's hill-walking. Location is excellent for Eastern side of Lake District & Pennines. Availability of early breakfast was helpful for longer days in October. Breakfast selection was excellent and beautifully cooked and presented. Sainsburys and local restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. My single room had everything I needed and Karen & Alison were perfect hosts, friendly and helpful. On-site parking is limited, but was never a problem for me.
