We had a great time in Lübeck. The apartment is close enough to the inner city to reach everything on foot. Everything inside was brand new and renovated.
Only 2 small things: The apartment's windows and balcony go out to a noisy street. The balcony door did not close completely.

This was a self-checkin situation. Communication with the owner/manager was easy and efficient. We received the door code by email. The apartment was very nicely renovated and updated in an older building. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We could store some food in the fridge, and a stovetop and microwave were available for use. We really appreciated having access to the washing machine. The location was within walking distance to the historic, beautiful city centre.
As Canadian travellers, we were somewhat confused by the (wonderfully efficient) washer/dryer. Perhaps an instruction sheet for reference might have helped us.
