Sunflower, Terre Marine

Loved the location! It’s right by the Main Street with loads of different bars/restaurants/shops/supermarkets so finding things is no issue. Less than 10 min walk to the train station and the beautiful marina. Staff let us check in an hour early and was easily contactable and answered the phone straight away. The photos to access the apartment are very easy to follow - don’t put the address in maps it will confuse you!

The property is quite noisy which meant it was hard to get to sleep/kept waking up. When we stayed there was construction happening Monday-fri from 7/8am in the block next to us outside, with loads of banging and drilling. Also the people above were even excessively loud or the walls are thin because we could hear every step and word. Lastly there was only one fork and one wine glass which meant we had to eat separately if we wanted to eat at the same time.

I loved the location was very close to all locations in Riomaggiore! Also I was impressed on how extremly clean the place was!! (Im an OCD).

I didnt like the place doesnt really have a nice view, like if you are in your bed and look thru the window, you’ll see the other building wall.

Toute fait super ! C’était très propre ! J’ai eu de l’eau chaude & du chauffage ce qui n’est pas tjrs le cas dans les logement que j’ai eu avant. La communication avec l’agence de location a été très fluide !

Ce n’est pas très lumineux mais l’emplacement est exceptionnel , vraiment ! Il faut savoir que les escaliers sont très pentus , c’est normal vu comment sont construits les bâtiments mais c’est important à savoir !

I really liked the self‑check‑in process — it was easy to find the keys in the box. The apartment is located on a beautiful, quiet street in Riomaggiore, yet it’s still very central and just a short walk from the train station and the marina. The space is quite dark due to the shutters, but this kept it nice and cool, and we slept really well every night (even with temperatures over 30 °C outside and no need for AC). The washing machine in the apartment was also a big plus and came in very handy. There is enough storage in the apartment too.

A few things could be improved. The dishes in the apartment were plastic, which felt a bit out of place, and there was only one fork available — although plenty of knives and spoons. There were no instructions about how to dispose of the garbage, yet I received a message warning about possible fines. After checking out, I didn’t get any confirmation or feedback about this. The online check‑in process was also more involved than expected, requiring selfies and personal details for both myself and my son — I’ve never been asked for this before. It’s worth noting that the apartment is located up a very steep set of stairs, which is common in Cinque Terre. We packed light, so it was manageable, but this could be challenging if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage.
