Amazing apartment in a new house. Clean, had everything. Comfy beds.

Internet was quite unstable, especially during evening hours. Or maybe I was unlucky.

The main reasons we chose this place was its location right next to the RAC Arena, where one of us was going to attend a concert, and the fact that it had two bedrooms and we could self-cater in the apartment, when we wished. The location was also great because of its proximity to eating places, museums etc. and transport. I had been a bit nervous about staying so high up (lots of stairs to go down if a fire alarm went off, which luckily didn't happpen), but the view was great. Also, there was no noise from the concert venue, even with the window open. It was nice to be able to open a window to let fresh air in each day.

There was no top sheet on either bed, in Perth, in summer. There are a few things you have to deal with because this is an apartment rather than a hotel. The process of getting and returning the keys involves having to electronically send someone your photo id (they have promised to delete it after our stay), ringing a number to gain access to the building, receiving a message containing a code to a lockbox containing the keys, then another photo and message process to leave the keys in a particular spot at the end of your stay. It all worked, but adds some complexity and stress to the check-in/check-out process. Also, as well as making sure everything is clean and put away when you leave, you have to take your rubbish out at the end of the stay, which involves carrying it down to the ground floor, out of the building, around to the other side, into the service area and then separating recyclables (seeing there is no separate bin in the apartment) and putting the rubbish into large smelly containers. Do-able, but annoying, given the amount we were paying for the apartment. Re the cost, and lower 'value for money' rating, our reason for being in Perth unfortunately coincided with the Perth Festival, Fringe and AFL State of Origin match, which led to us having to pay a lot more for this apartment (or any other accommodation in Perth for those days) than is charged at other times, when I would have given it a higher 'value for money' rating.

Communication with the hosts were clear and timely. Unit is on a high floor and has lovely views. One bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (master bedroom) & another bedroom with a queen-sized bed with access to a common bathroom. Slef-contained apartment for the discerning traveler (with access to dedicated parking!).

Could have provided hotel-styled toothbrush & toothpaste set. There should be ice-trays for use with the freezer. The entrance to the carpark is tight...so be particularly careful if driving in in a large or long vehicle.
