In centro - Alassio apartment

Posizione , appartamento piccolo ed essenziale

Struttura accogliente, pulita e profumata e soprattutto dotata di ogni confort. Nonostante l’appartamento non sia di grandi dimensioni, come indicato nella descrizione, in tre siamo stati davvero bene, ed é completo di tutto il necessario. E per ogni esigenza Jessica, la proprietaria é molto disponibile e gentile. Infatti la ringraziamo per averci fatto trascorrere un’ottima vacanza. La posizione é top, dietro il budello, vicinissima a tutte le attrazioni, dal centro, alla spiaggia, al supermercato… che dire… sicuramente ci ritorneremo e lo consiglio vivamente a tutti!

Strategic location since it's in the centre and super close to the beach and once you park your car (very difficult in Alassio) you do not need to use it anymore. Host was super kind and available. She even had us finding a small gift (small chocolate eggs - Easter time) at our arrival.

The thing that made our stay most uncomfortable was the noise coming from the streets during the night, which can be quite normal on Saturday nights in the centre of a town (maybe?) but, if they only had a window that closed properly, the noise would have been reduced quite enough. We had to buy earplugs to get a proper sleep. We personally did not find the sofa-bed comfortable: even if Jessica ensured us that the mat was orthopaedic and not standard, I believe that the structure of the bed on which the mat lies makes a difference (i.e. too much "hammock style" for us). The single bed was a real bed but it was not comfortable either: the mat was too hard (for slim people sleeping on the side and not in their thirties anymore - subjective). Finally, the hot water in the shower would not last for 2 and half showers in a row (1 adult+kid followed by another adult, including hair washing)... and we are normally quite fast not to waste water. The apartment is in an old building so every time a neighbour shuts the door, we would get our door "bouncing" and all neighbours conversations while taking the stairs (even early in the morning) could be heard as if they were inside "our" apartment (typical "paper walls" of old times).
