Urasa cottage at the station

Fantastic rooms and facilities. The owner of the cottage was very helpful ,gave good advice on what restaurants we should try and even helped with transport. Would definetly stay here again.

It is a really spacious house in Japanese style, with all the amenities one might need. The bed and bathtub were really comfortable and a cold beer was waiting for us in the fridge. The host was so very kind to both pick us up and return us to the station the next morning.

This accomodation was “on my route” and available ! Those were the two factors that decided my choosing it. I simply needed a bed for the night. I wasn’t overwhelmed when I saw the building exterior, but that changed as soon as I entered. The owner has done a magnificent job with the interior, the rooms, and the furniture and fixtures, it’s a little Palace. I was comfortable in this quiet neighbourhood on the edge of town, and the nearby safe parking for my car was reassuring. Thank you for a delightful and comfortable stay.

There are no Sea Views, no views of the mountains or forests, but that isn’t what it’s supposed to be ! It’s inexpensive, but very comfortable accomodation in a small community in mid Japan. If you are travelling anywhere near, and you need a place to stay for a night, or two inexpensively, you definitely need to consider this.
