Welcome to my apartment!
This charming 58m² apartment is conveniently located near several popular attractions in Madrid, as well as shops, supermarkets, and a wide variety of restaurants offering diverse culinary experiences.
The living room features a comfortable sofa bed, a TV, and a puul out perfect for enjoying your meals. The space is bright and cozy.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including an electric stovetop, oven, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, and utensils.
The first bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe, while the second bedroom has bunk beds. All beds come with linens.
The bathroom includes clean towels and complimentary toiletries.
For your convenience, the apartment is professionally cleaned before each stay.
Please note that the apartment is located on the 4th floor. It is accessible by means of a small lift, but it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility, as it requires a few steps to reach it. You can also use the stairs

Just a short walk away is the Plaza Mayor, a historic square known for its impressive architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Nearby, the Mercado San Miguel offers a taste of local cuisine in a lively market setting. Additionally, the Almudena Cathedral, with its modern interior and rich history, is within easy reach.
For dining options, the area boasts a variety of esteemed establishments. El Anciano Rey de los Vinos, a family-run tavern since 1909, offers traditional Spanish dishes and drinks in a classic setting. Another notable spot is Mesón del Champiñón, renowned for its delectable garlic mushrooms and authentic atmosphere.
This property is well-served by public transportation. The nearest metro station is Sol, approximately a 5-minute walk away, where you can access lines M-1, M-2, and M-3. Additionally, the La Latina station, serving line M-5, is also about a 5-minute walk from Calle Mayor.
Several bus lines operate in the vicinity, including routes 133, 146, 150, 2, 32, and 65, with stops near Calle Mayor. The Palacio Real bus stop is just a 1-minute walk away, providing convenient access to various parts of the city.
Self check-in. Physical keys must be collected at a Keynest partner store near the accommodation. Check-in is from 3:00 PM (early check-in upon request). You will receive the pick-up code and instructions a few days before your arrival, once you have completed the arrival form.
We provide basic amenities for the first days of your stay: shower gel samples, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bags. If you need additional cleaning or bed linen during your stay, please let us know and we will be happy to provide them at an additional charge.
There is a zero-tolerance smoking policy on the property, but guests may smoke in outdoor areas if the accommodation has them. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (for example, smoke smell, ashes, cigarette butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a minimum penalty of €200 for smoking.
Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of utilities will apply with a limit of €80.
Extra keys: according to availability, in case of loss a penalty will be applied according to the cost of the copy.

Overall, this apartment worked out great for our stay. The location is impossible to beat - walkable to everything! Although I should mention the location shown on the map is not actually where it’s located. On the map it looks like it’s closer to The Royal Palace, and although it does say Plaza Mayor in the description (which is accurate) I just think the map should reflect that a bit better. The apartment access was difficult at first - I followed the instructions, but the system wasn’t connecting properly. However, response time was very fast in order to help us out! There was a bad smell when entering the apartment, it was like a musty/damp smell. Once A/C was turned on, it seemed to disappear. The couch could use a good cleaning, but the place was clean otherwise! One minor thing I would recommend is towel hooks in the bathrooms as there was virtually nowhere to hang our towels. I think the issues are fixable & the location of this place outweighs the cons!

As advertised with some minor maintenance issues. (Dishwasher front, shower head leak) The digital door locks for entry were a bit temperamental. Found it to be clean and comfortable.

Can’t say enough about the magnificent location of this place. It’s a small space but well organized. The ACs were top notch! The best ACS we saw in our 30 days in Europe. They were strong and cool. We had to turn it off often because we would get cold even keeping it at 24/25. The apt stays pretty cool, it didn’t seem to get too hot in there. Things to consider: the elevator is tiny as most elevators in Europe are, so take that into consideration. The first floor is a round of three small sets of stairs to start your elevator ride. It’s a small space, with one couch, it was a little snug for 3 adults and one kid, but the location is worth it.(It’s right around the corner from Mercado San Miguel, an amazing food court with so much good stuff to try)I was not a big fan of having a separate platform handle the booking. I had to email them for check in instructions, but after that they were pretty communicative through email and they respond quickly to vrbo messages.

The location is right in the middle of restaurants and other action. Parking in the area is difficult and expensive. Good for a 2-3 night stay, but no more.
