Nicely appointed and equipped apartment with enough space for 4 people. In a great location, central to the historic parts of Madrid.

Only complaint is that Chocolateria San Gines operates 24 hours a day so late night revelers enjoying a late night snack are audible from the bedrooms even with the windows closed.

La ubicación es excelente y aunque está en pleno centro, el balcón daba a una calle secundaria donde no había mucho jaleo de ruido. La casa era antigua pero el apartamento estaba reformado y bien amueblado, con un salón acogedor y una cocina funcional y bien equipada. El día que nos marchamos nos dejaron guardar el equipaje en el apartamento mientras visitábamos la ciudad.

El apartamento está en una tercera planta sin ascensor, así que hay que subir y bajar con el equipaje por las escaleras. La ventana del dormitorio da a un callejón donde la cafetería de abajo tiene su escape de humos y tuvimos que tenerla cerrada todo el rato porque entraba el olor de los churros. Tuvimos un problema con el horno y no pudimos usarlo. Le preguntamos al anfitrión pero no respondió.

Apartamento cuidado y muy completo, no le faltaba detalle

The apartment was in general nice. The bedroom was good and the living room spacious. Everything we needed, the apartment had. The location in the center of MAdrid was great and eveything was accessible by foot.

The location on one hand was great, but on the other hand it was on top of a popular churro place, which was open 24/7. So there were always a lot of people outside and the noise was big. The sofabed in the living room was the worst thing. Looking at other reviews, it's about time to buy a new one, but for some reason it's not done. The sofabed was tilted in many ways, so it was the most uncomfortable sleeping experience I have ever had in a rental apartment. It was really bad. We actually took the mattrace and put it directly on the floor which was much more better then sleeping on the sofabed. Please buy a new one!
