    Stay: 23–26 September 2026 Very disappointing experience at Anook Hotel. The biggest concern was the security of my personal belongings. After I requested room cleaning, I discovered that two of my tops were missing from my room. I had not locked my belongings because I trusted that my personal items would be safe inside the hotel room while housekeeping was being carried out. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. This is extremely concerning. Guests should be able to expect their belongings to remain safe and secure inside their rooms. The hotel needs to take this matter seriously and review its housekeeping and room-access procedures. On top of this, the hotel staff were not friendly or welcoming, which made the overall experience even more disappointing. I would strongly suggest that guests keep all valuables and personal belongings securely locked away, even when leaving the room for housekeeping. I hope the management investigates what happened and takes appropriate steps to prevent similar incidents from happening to other guests.

    Great location, bed and bathroom were very clean. They provided complimentary breakfast, and an ergonomic pillow, unlike other hotels. I'd def come back.

    The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to bus and train stations, as well as the airport bus. It is close to dining options, the Old Town, and cafes. The staff were helpful, and I would stay here again. There was one minor issue: the bathroom drain was a bit slow. I didn't report it to the front desk since it didn't significantly impact my stay, but the hotel might want to look into it.

    Before you book this hotel, please check the check-in time. It's not until 6pm, which is really uncomfortable if you plan to visit the city for the weekend. There is no safe storage for your bags and no chance to check in early. The reception closes at 10pm, so you have to be there during those hours to check in - which is a real drag when you want to be out in the city. There is an automatic check in service after 10pm, but it didn't recognise my ID and we had to call the hotel staff (in Korean) to finally get access to our room. Don't expect to use the spa or sauna either - these were 'fully booked' for the whole time. I asked before I even checked in and they were apparently not available. I suspect they don't bother opening them up as it's easier. The room was fine but there is no fly screen on the windows so you can't open it unless you want lots of insects coming in. I didn't open the window but was still bitten by a mosquito all night long! There must be lots inside the hotel.
