Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and our family was very happy with the accommodation. The house was very clean, tidy, spacious and well maintained, and we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived.
The house is well equipped, with a good kitchen, washing facilities and plenty of space for a family. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful, and the whole property felt welcoming and comfortable.
The host was also very responsive and helpful. We noticed that there were no tissues/paper supplies when we arrived, and after we contacted the host, they were delivered the following day. We really appreciated the quick response and good service.
Overall, the house was even better than we expected, and we were very satisfied with our stay.
There was nothing major that we were unhappy with, but there are a few things future guests may want to be aware of.
A €500 security deposit is required before the stay, so it is worth taking this into account when booking.
The standard check-in time is 5:00 pm and check-out is 10:00 am. As we wanted to check in earlier at 3:00 pm and check out later at 12:00 noon, we paid an additional fee of around €32. We appreciated that the host was able to offer this option, as it made our travel arrangements much easier.
The beds were also slightly short for taller adults, although this was only a minor issue and did not affect our overall experience.

Das Haus ist richtig gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet. Alles was man als Familie braucht war dabei: Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Seife, Duschgel, Müllbeutel, Spülmaschinen-und Waschmaschinentabs, Trockner. Die Kids wollten nicht weg. Wir waren zu viert, denke für 8 Personen wird es etwas knapp. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit in Calais.
Wir alle, bis auf vierjährige Tochter fanden die Matratzen etwas hart. Aber ist Gewöhnungssache. Für mein 2 Meter großen Mann auch kurz mit 1,80 länger.
