The living room was spacious and full of light . Super close to the city centre

All good , no really negative points

Clean, spacious and great location - short walk into town and close access to Derwent water.

There are some flights of stairs to the front door so less able people may struggle, but the view is worth it 🙂

Location is excellent, really easy to explore locally, parking is good. It was light, spacious and perfect for a family of 4 (2 kids 11 & 7). We got lucky with the weather so it was really hot inside in the evenings, our host bought us a fan though, Elaine was really helpful and her communication was always excellent and prompt. Would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay.

The roads are really tight and getting in and out of the car park to the apartment was tricky at times just because of how others had parked. Our apartment was up two floors so not ideal if you struggle with stairs, not usually a problem for us just hard work in the heat and with luggage. We knew there wasn’t a garden but missed an outdoor space in the evenings after a day of walking but that was more because we had such good weather. A mop in the kitchen would have been useful but that’s nit picking really!

The property was in a great location, and was very clean and tidy when we checked-in. I was constantly kept updated by the host about check-in time, how to get keys, check-out time etc. The level of service provided was excellent and the stay in general proved fantastic value for money.

Ideally, a coffee table and another chair would have been good to have had in the living room, but other than that, no issues at all. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chaucer View as a great place to stay in Keswick.
