New! Mangalam house, Private plunge pool near beach

Милый дом с милыми хозяевами и помощниками, все прошло гладко и без проблем. В доме есть все необходимое. Вода работала хорошо, свет тоже) есть смарт tv с большим экраном. Очень понравилось остановиться в этом зеленом уютном месте.

Mangalam house was such a joy to spend a night - I wish I could have stayed longer. The house had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The air con and ceiling fans kept the space perfectly cool from the hot conditions outside. The house is well furnished and all amenities and linen are of a high standard. I appreciated the washing machine and line and got all of my accumulated washing pile cleaned and dried - a real bonus!. The outdoor plunge pool/spa was superb to cool off after a walk or swim at the beach. It is well shaded from the sun. The housekeeper Malar was delightful to deal with and so helpful. The location of the house is ideal, a short walk to Dutch Bay Beach for a quick morning or evening swim and a slightly longer walk to Fort Frederick - but very managable. I was a solo traveller and found the house and location ideal. The house would suit a small family or two couples. I highly recommend Mangalam House to anyone looking to stay in a fully self contained house in a great location.

An Exceptional Stay - Thoughtfully Curated and Beautifully Presented We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home, which has been curated with such care and attention to detail. Everything we needed was provided, and so much more. The house was absolutely immaculate, with beautiful, fresh linen and thoughtful touches throughout that made us feel instantly comfortable and at home. It was such a pleasure to have practical amenities like a washing machine and a water filter, which made our stay even more convenient. We also loved the lovely gesture of fresh fruit and snacks waiting for us. One of our favourite moments was sitting on the balcony in the early morning, enjoying a peaceful cup of coffee. The hosts and their team were warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful, and the beautifully presented compendium of recommendations for dining and local attractions was a wonderful resource that helped us make the most of our stay. It’s clear that so much thought and care have gone into creating a truly special experience for guests. We couldn’t have asked for more and would wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully appointed place to stay. We would love to return!

The house is really beautiful and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We loved the plunge pool and staff and owners are so friendly and helpful to book any tours or information you may need.

Unfortunately we didn’t realise quite how far out of the main centre of upaveli the house was. A 15 minute Tuk Tuk ride got us in and out but with only two days in Trincomalee it would have been nice to be more central.
