The Marina retreat -free parking

Quiet , relaxing, Beautiful view and bed comfortable

Nice view down through the Marina from the balcony great for enjoying breafast or watching the sunset with a glass of something and a good location to watch boaters go about their business. Free parking in Marina multistory is a short walk away. Good directions provided by host on how to access the property and drop off before parking up. Asda superstore on marina site and a number of chain eateries and bars, a cinema and bowling alley all make this a good location just outside Brighton itself .The marina is well served with public transport, (parking in Brighton is expensive). Being at the eastern end of the marina, it is quieter. A stroll in a westerly direction will take you to the nearest beach just outside the marina complex.

Couldn't get the 2 ring hob to work and it wasnt because we were not familiar with this type of hob. We didn't report as mainly eating out and opted for continental style breakfast. The bedroom is on a mezzanine up steepish open steps, not an issue for us, but it did give a good view under the bed which could have been cleaner,(bit dusty) otherwise the place was clean. It is cosy and great for two adults, there is a sofa bed but 3 would make a crowd in our view.

Very well furnished, bed and sofa are super comfy. The balcony is fantastic for soaking up the sun and the marina is a lovely place to stay. Amgad was super helpful in helping us adjust our dates and the instructions were clear and concise to check in.

Shower water pressure is weak but to be expected so haven’t mark down at all for this. The shower head could do with being replaced as is loose and constantly needs readjusting.

Quirky. Nice to be so close to the Marina and it felt safe.

Dirty, stained carpet in living area. Sofa bed uncomfortable. Parking was a real nuisance as we were on the East quay but there was no parking available. This meant we had to schlep across to the West quay to park. Apartment very small - only really suitable for a couple.
