The apartment was immaculate—very clean, bright, and visually impressive, with a lovely waterside location that gives a real “wow” factor on arrival. While the apartment looks great and is very clean, it would benefit from clearer guidance, better parking information, and a few more thoughtful touches. It’s also worth considering the walk from the car park in colder or rainy weather.

Several practical issues made the stay less enjoyable. The directions to the property were vague, and parking was particularly confusing. We were advised to use a nearby multi-storey car park, but it has a four-hour limit despite being told “it’ll be fine,” so we’re still unsure if we’ll receive a fine. The car park itself was about a 15-minute walk away, involving six flights of stairs and no lift—not ideal with luggage or for anyone with mobility concerns. Clearer instructions, including accurate parking guidance and a simple map from the carpark to the property would make a big difference, as Google Maps wasn’t very reliable. Inside, the property has steep, narrow stairs, so it’s not suitable for those with accessibility needs. Amenities were also very minimal—no shower gel or milk, just the basics—so we were glad we’d stopped at Asda beforehand. The bed was also uncomfortable, as it was made up of two single beds pushed together.
