Shanxi Merchant Mansion

Beautiful building and room. Unexpected highlight of a free tea tasting experience which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Breakfast choice, limited western options but you are in China.

The Mansion itself has been restored beautifully and is worth visiting in its own right. The room and bathroom finishes were of a high standard. We much appreciated being met at the station and being dropped off at the hotel. (Also the return trip.)

The hanging space in the bathroom was limited.
