Beautiful historical building in Pingyao. The courtyards are just as pretty in real life as in the pictures. The owners are lovely people who really tried to help guests. The location is great, quite convenient to walk through from the city walls.
Finding the entrance to the hotel upon arriving at night was challenging, we ended up asking for help at a restaurant. The rooms are really basic, though understandable for a historical building.

Très bien placé au coeur de Pingyao, le bâtiment est très beau et bien entretenu. La propriétaire parle très bien anglais et nous a gentiment surclassés. Très bien pour une nuit ou deux.
La chambre manque un peu de confort, la salle de bain est très petite et très sombre. Les lits traditionnels sont très durs, il ne faut pas avoir mal au dos.

Not clean. Bathroom and toulet was not cleaned, floor was dusty and mattresses were thin/hard !
