Spacious living quarters. Really warm welcome from the hostess, who made sure that there was milk, orange juice, fruit, chocolate etc. provided included in the price. Excellent service. Easy access to sea front. Not in Strande, but in Schilksee, but it is a nice walk.
The building was still clad in scaffolding, pending exterior repairs. You can use your room balcony, but the scaffold is directly in front of you. It’s clearly important to repair the building though, and it didn’t spoil our visit. The Olympic Village itself isn’t very beautiful.
