We stayed at this property for a week and everything was perfect; the place looks exactly like the photos—everything is new and modern. The owner was very attentive, checking in to see if we needed anything and ensuring all our needs were met. The location is simply magnificent: you are right in the heart of the Old Town, surrounded by shops and restaurants, yet you can still sleep peacefully without any disturbance. As a recommendation, the food at the restaurant on the ground floor is excellent; I highly recommend it. I would certainly choose this accommodation again.

Impossible d’être mieux placé pour découvrir la magnifique vieille ville de Rethymno. Le logement est beau, propre, spacieux et très agréable à vivre. Je le recommande vivement. L’entrée se situe sur la terrasse du restaurant situé au rez-de-chaussée, ce qui peut sembler surprenant au premier abord, mais nous avons finalement trouvé cela plutôt original et sympathique. Les serveurs nous accueillaient chaque jour avec beaucoup de chaleur et de bonne humeur. Une mention spéciale au serveur qui avait toujours un mot gentil pour nous et qui a contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. 😊

Seul petit point à noter : l’éclairage de secours au plafond reste allumé toute la nuit. Cela ne nous a pas posé de problème particulier, mais si, comme moi, vous aimez dormir dans l’obscurité totale, cela peut être légèrement gênant. Hormis ce détail, le séjour a été parfait.

The room was clean, recently renovated, and very comfortable. The bed was great, and the location is excellent, right in the city center and within walking distance of everything.

The main issue was on our last afternoon. Someone knocked on the door and immediately started unlocking it without any prior notice. Even after we spoke through the door, they continued trying to enter, and we had to physically prevent the door from opening. I contacted the property straight away, and they explained they wanted to check a possible leak on the balcony. While I understand maintenance issues can happen, this did not justify attempting to enter an occupied room without proper communication or waiting for our permission. It left us feeling unsafe.
