Beautiful Riad, wonderful, accommodating staff. I hope to stay here again.

Riad sara in Fes is a very pretty and beautiful riad. We stayed here for 4 nights in 3rd week of March 2017. The riad is just under 5 mins walk to the nearest water fountain square - Batha square and just under 10 mins to the famous Fes medina. You don't need to worry about taxis as the Petit taxi rank is just in the fountain square so you can get to any place easily even with the luggage. I recommend using the Petit taxi to go around, to the train station and to the Airport. They are cheap, efficient and plenty. If you order taxi from riad they arrange black private taxis and they are expensive. You don't need to worry about using Petit taxi, just use Petit. That's what we did. As our flight was night arrival and this is our first trip to Morocco, we booked taxi with this riad from the Airport. They were spot on and the driver was simply waiting though the flight was delayed. Once reached the riad, the host was just saw us in the front of the door and welcomed us, helped our luggage and shown our room. The host is very very friendly, just simply awesome and great place to stay here. The breakfast is plenty and the mint tea is amazing. The interior of the room and courtyard are just as it is shown on the photos. You don't need to worry, you will get satisfied with this. As we have planned our excursions outside of Fes and above, we didn't use their travel agent. However he helped us to see the famous fes medina. He gave us a map and shown us the points and factors.

Good location to walk to but a bit far from the heart of the medina and souks which wasn’t a bad thing for us. We liked where it was. Absolutely beautiful courtyard. No amenities really and didn’t really see any staff during the day. We arrived on the fringe season. Great breakfast and they even packed a lunch for us on our departure. We will be sure to visit again during the cooler season. Thankfully, our room ac blasted like an arctic wind.
