Riverview Upper Apartment

The apartment was just what we needed - spacious, well furnished, with excellent views and close to where we needd to be.

A lot of climbing - steps up to the front door, down from the parking at the rear, and in the house itself. Good exercise! There was little guidance on local facilities, for example medical, post office, taxis and transport links. The bin schedule was missing, but we just observed the neighbours' bin movements.

The location is perfect, the feel of the apartment was great, the space, room sizes and equipment provided was excellent. We had a slight problem with the heating and hot water on the first day, our host managed to get a plumber to us really quickly and it was sorted out with minimal fuss, thank you. The views to the front of the apartment were very impressive.

Entry into the apartment is easier and much more pleasant from the front garden rather than the rear which would have meant a tight squeeze past the wheelie bins, not a good first impression. Our bed was very noisy and squeaked and groaned every time I moved at night which was very unsettling and meant having a bad nights sleep. Some of our pillows were very stained, we only found this out when we stripped the bed when leaving and lastly we had to hand wash a lot of the cutlery and crockery that we used, before we used them.

Fantastic location overlooking Dundee and the Tay estuary. Very well appointed and equipped.

Everything was excellent. Clean, spacious and well maintained with all the facilities that you could need. Great location with some restaurants nearby and 10 minutes from Dundee centre. Great views over the river Tay.
